About Tea & Time

Hi there, my name is T and I’m the person behind Tea & Time. I love to spend my days being creative, whether that is for my business or just cooking the dinner of an evening, I just simply have to scratch that creative itch all the time!

Because of that, I have many interests, baking/cooking, woodworking, gardening basically anything that creates something at the end of it. I like to be very practical and so with that and my creativity packed lifestyle and running my own business, I love to make lists and plans so that I know when I can fit everything in.

You’d think that I’m a very organised, squared away person but my family (and even me if I’m being truly honest with myself) would argue that I am not. I think that I wouldn’t be as creative or as happy if I were, but that also doesn’t mean that I’m a complete mess!

By planning and writing down all that gets clogged up in my head it takes away a lot of the stress that can build up in me because I find that I end up being able to do most of the things I want to be doing. Also, it’s very therapeutic to write a good old fashioned list!

You’re no writer, so why are you starting a blog?

It’s true! I am in no way shape or form a writer. I am a visual creative and always leave the writing portion of the majority of my work to others that are far better at it than me.

But, by creating the Tea & Time blog, I’m hoping it will become another outlet for me to get rid of some of the clutter in my mind by writing about some of the issues I encounter along my journey of trying to find a better-balanced life. And by doing so hopefully help a few others along the way.
